Default Is this a good deal?

I know a guy that is the owner of a company that does aftermarket sunroofs, navigation systems, and bluetooth kits for the local Toyota/Scion dealer. He is offering me a brand new Eclipse AVN6620 (new 2008 model) installed with DVD bypass with a 3-year warranty from his company for $915 including the fit kit to cover the side gaps. It's a 7" touchscreen with DVD playback. These are the same navigation systems Toyota uses in the Camrys. Is this a good deal?

I would say so, I have a AVN5435 in my tC and I got it for $900, and that is older than the one you got (mind you I got mine over a year ago) so I would say that it would be a good deal especially with warranty.

If you can get him to install.........then it is a great deal.......but yes that is a pretty good cost for that..........I was looking at that same deck online and am torn between it and the D3..........so far lower cost of D3 is winning but the other has a bigger screen........so many decisions.

I would go with the AVN unless you decided to get the Z1. 7" is much larger than 6.1". Toyota uses eclipse systems in the new Camry. My gf has an 08 Blue Ribbon Metallic Camry XLE V6 w/ NAV and it is very user friendly. The interface integrates beautifully with the car. Very OEM-like

Not sure about the AVN6620, but my AVN5435 works with the OEM steering wheel controls without any adapters... cant say that about the D3 lol
