Default Tire rotation?

Is it possible... Well, safe to do the tire rotation just using the jack that comes with the car? By raising it via the point in the manual, will it raise it up enough for the back wheel to be removed?

Im new at this and will be my first DIY tire rotation... Just want to know if I can safely do it myself with what is supplied with the car.

Also, to remove the hubcap just pry around the edge with screwdriver?

Thanks!

You can actually pull the hubcaps off by hand, no screwdriver, no scratching, no marks.

it is possible,
But if you are going to do oil change and other stuff under ur car, it is best to invest a jack stand. U can likely get one for few bucks at a flea market or yard sale.

a jack stand will make tire rotation faster too. because without it, you have to put on the spare tire and lower the car again.

You're welcome Invertalon.

You're on your own for the tire rotation. The shop I go to for my oil changes (synthetic every 5k miles) only charges me $20 to rotate since the cars already up on the lift. I know $20 is $20, but my time is worth more. I also don't have to deal with disposing of my own used oil, or the mess that comes with it.

i heard yesterday that scion had a tire rotation plan, that they would replace your tires (1st set) after you tires hit 3/32 tread life. But only if you stuck to the strick 5k tire rotation, and that it was documented at the dealership.
