My Kaminari Reverse Cowl Hood in Carbon Fiber is HERE!
I LOVE IT! I am so scared to get the hood drilled into for the windshield nozzles.
Let me know what you think of the pics. I am very impressed with the quality and even the wood steps were smart. Kaminari =

Thanks man! I LOVE it, people have told me it's ricey, but I could care less. BUT, I have heard that CF hoods are dangerous and need hood pins because the latch is held by an epoxy glue. Is that true? If so, maybe I could perhaps get it welded onto the underside to make it stronger?

Thanks man! I hope I don't run into the same problems. I am not sure what I wanna do with the nozzles. I think it would look wicked if they were on it to look OEM. I may get a custom rainguard made since I get snow and rain here.
since it is a lot lighter...it can fly up...but it will only be at higher speeds...personally i've had mine about 2 years now and i have driven around 100mph a few times and it has not popped up, so i wouldn't worry too much. Now about drilling the holes for the washers...i wouldn't. after doing mine i think it would have looked a lot cleaner if i didn't. If your windows get too dirty, just clean em yourself...doesn't take that much time anyway...just my 2 cents
I love the Kaminari hood! I wish it would fit my car with my manifold. My brother has it and its heavy for a c/f hood and it has a strong latch so I wouldnt worry to much about it lifting. Buts its not ricey! Looks clean!
I drilled out the holes for the sprayers on my bro's. I used a dremel and just traced the online thats already on the hood. Worked like a charm.

Alright, thanks for the tip, does it have good fitment? You have the Kaminari hood right? I am too lazy to clean it, haha. Plus, people will see the indention if its not there.

yeah.. the latch is pretty massive.. its detachable so u can make it higher just as i did because i couldnt close it.... i dont think i would need hood pins but I'm thinking on it.
about the nozzle.. yeah it looks awesome without it but i NEEED it really bad! i was using tha nozzle almost every day.. so now its pretty bad..( i didnt use it for 3 days now) and i had to stop to wash my windshield because i cant see through !:D
i hope that the hole wont crack after a while...
there is any DIY how to remove and install the nozzle?:D
