put my newcarbon fiber hood on, need advice too, should i go with the carbon fiber mirror covers??? below is the link to the c/f mirrors

i like it the way it is, looking sweet

 

i think the eyelids would look 10x better if the weave was the same as the hood. whatever floats your boat on the mirror covers. it's your car so you might as well buy them if you want them.

 

do you put it over your covers or is it a full replacement?

 

Spend that money on VRD fogs instead. The mirrors will just be tacky.

 

not real sure, i was going to call and ask them before the purchase. By the look of the pic, they replace them, because the cover does not stick out from the signal on the mirror.

 

thank for the advice, but im not getting vrd fogs, i am boosting it in a year and they will need to come off at that time. And as far as the eyelid weave....hahah, you will never get an eyelid weave to match the hood weave, unless the same person made both of the products, thats just the way it goes, would be nice if they matched i agree, but people lay weaves differently.

 

the mirror covers do NOT clip, iirc those are the same that firmware worx sold (before they went o.o.b.) you have to remove the stock covers and glue the cf covers in place with silicone. fitment is off a little but they do look good.

yes good call, i saw that after i posted this thread, hahah. also i was looking for input on the c/f mirror covers.

 

lovin the bronze rims with the c/f man. Ive had so many friends tell me to stay away from bronze, but i think it looks good with a c/f'ed out white car, ill have the c/f lip soon.

yeah ur title implies that you wanna see sw tC's with CF...not just to show urs off...so the point of my reference is that if you would like to see more SW's with CF, then you can follow that link and see many

 

If you really really want the mirror covers, I'd say get them. I have them. First of all, I waited a really long time for them to come. You don't remove your stock covers, they go over them. You have to find a way to mount them yourself. There are a few gaps, but nothing too bad. I had a little trick that made them look better up close
