Well since I moved here from Walla Walla, WA it has been hard to keep my car looking good. I now live in SE Portland right off of Burnside by the Doug Fir Lounge and Union Jacks . Before I had a garage to park in, but now I have to park on the street where I can find a spot. 3 of my rims now have a rash from parrallel parking, and it rains so much I only wash it about once every three weeks. My engine is filthy too. What do the rest of you do to keep the car looking it's best here in the coast.

Wait until summer... I don't have a garage to put my car in either so its constantly getting rained on and washes only keep it clean for one or two days until the rain comes back. I've scraped my rims alot because of all those dam narrow streets up in Seattle at night.

I usually just pay for a full detail every six months and then try to do the best I can. I is a never ending battle to keep the cars clean. I miss California….

Well, most of the time, you will have to wash it the day you need it to look its best, then drive to destination and reclean. This time of year, my car gets cleaned when I want it clean. I work at a grain elevator, and drive my car to work, so its dirty everyday, but it is easier to keep clean once the rain stops, mid July to Sept. lol.

I used to be so careful about my rims. They never had a minor scratch. But now, it's gonna happen.

I use to keep my Honda clean up here, but it was lonely being the only one at the car wash in the winter time. Come summer you can’t even get a stall to wash your car they are so busy.

My car gets filthy, and I mean FILTHY!!! I use my tC to go fishing in during the off season/Fall...and geeze, you'd think it was a "bro mobile"....there's fishing gear, receipts, wrappers, cigarette butts and more all over the place, and MUD, MUD and more...MUD. I also take my dogs to the beach and get sand and hair EVERYWHERE!

I recently invested in a collapsible crate and it helps a little. But when it's time to clean up the ride, I swear by Tuff Stuff interior cleaner with a scrubber/brush and my Dyson vacuum + 3-4 hours of cleaning time. My neighbors must think I'm crazy...Another thing, during the winter I don't even bother with cleaning the car. Maybe once a month because it is just going to get dirty again with all the crap they put on the roads during the slick months.
