Default Brought to my attention

I met up with one of my friends today who hadn't seen my S/C and he asked me to rev it for him to hear it. I reved it up to redline and he said the engine made a little "jump" and told me to check my engine mounts. Is there anything strange about the engine shaking a little when it hits redline?

could there be something wrong with my engine mounts?

Jump? As in it physically moved? That's normal. There's a lot of torque that's applied on the engine through the crankshaft when you rev it really high.

Your friend is right though. Aftermarket engine mounts would put a big brake on that engine movement.

yeah, if you ever watched caranddriver television, they usually opened the hood of the cars they were testing and revved the engine so you could hear it, and you could see it move, in this case, i think it is called the engine "torquing" or something.

nothing to worry about normal.

Quite normal, just torque on the engine, although you can decrease it by having better mounts and ETD, it looks pretty awesome though:

For comparison (just a video I found that really shows you).

I used to do brake stands in my camaro and as the torque went though the drive shaft the car would twist, it was cool as hell.

You would be AMAZED at what a good set of motor mounts will do for you.
TurboToyotas came out with a billet front mount (I only ahve the front right now) that looks sick as hell!
I got the speed source set, and with just the front in, I was able to take my buddy of the line whith his intake (before boost, of course) because the excessive engine movement also cause wheel hop at hard acceleration.

i have no idea. my ETD broke welds on my hatch and my sunroof rattles now. also my headliner is falling off from it. now i can't say forsure it's all from the ETD but it's all on the right side of my car.

that is a big no no! you DO NOT want to hit rev limiter over and over again! i know its there to keep your motor from over reving, but it IS NOGT GOOD to 'bounce' the rev limiter!

My motor mounts make everythign vibrate right at about 1000rpm and anything above 5200rpm or so. Other then that, you dont' even notice it.
And after boost, my idle (with the air off) is at 800rpm, so it's fine...but with the air on...yeah...it's shakes pretty bad at idle.

Good thing the OP isnt pushing near 400whp. As long as its adjusted correctly and lined up it shouldnt run into any issues.
