i was looking and couldnt find any kits for an angel eye mod for the headlights on the 08 models everything just says up to 07?

any help?

 

Nothing out yet for the 08 heads. I'm fabbing up my own set tomorrow so we'll see what happens haha

i think there was a guy on hidplanet with an 08 doing a retrofit and he found some ebay ccfl that fit 1 circle it was like a 80mm or something. dont know if that helps

 

ok so I tried molding some rings today but it was tough to get the shape right. I'm gonna brain storm some more on a better way to make the rings to the right shape. Does anyone only the diameter of the rings around the low beam and high beam? I estimated them but I would like a specific number if possible

 

haha I'm making my own too. i just need to figure out all the iring details n stuff. already ordered what i need :D

why nooot...measure? when i get my materials which should be sometime next week since the guy i bought from is shipping from my city, I'm doin my own measurements.

I asked ragingbull for the measurments, but he never replied so I'm just going to do it myself.

Funny.. because i bought my gf anzo headlights and surely enuff they fit and work for her 08 tc...

 

There's no kit out for the OEM heads. That's what we're trying to make lol

 

yup anzos are the only solution so far for an 08 to hav halos.. none yet for stock 08 projectors

 

Hmm I dunno how good angel eyes would look on 08s anyway but maybe thats just me. I guess I feel that way because there are 3 rings and angel eyes usually only have 2. So I guess you could only but em on the 2 larger rings, but personally that would bug me, but I also think 3 rings would look strange. Maybe I'm just too picky

 

^^ I'm only planning to run two rings. I'll be painting the chrome rings black so they won't look weird hopefully.
