hey guys..
time to start the meet season again, lots of fun was had @ last years meets, hopfully even more fun this year!!!!
Saturday, May 17th we'll be having the meet @ the normal place, Colt State Park in Bristol, RI.
we'll prolly start meeting up around 12-1pm, doing the usual meet and greet, BBQing, the frisbee will be thrown around some im sure, and just general hanging out.
Later on we can decide as a group what to do, be it Dave & Busters for some food and games, or just crusing around or whatever.
anyone who'd like to hang out, and stay over the night, is more than welcome, we had a GREAT "after meet-meet" at the last NE meet.
EVERYONE is welcome, and BRING A FRIEND! the more the merrier.

Mostly because it's in May... and I agree with Ben...... commit to an event and plan around it.... unless emergency comes up... mark your calendar.. we can have our own NRG section to BBQ. I can bring something.

May is two months away. it's to far away for me plan right now. I have to make sure I don't have an Fam event to go too.

 

yeah im not going to make a definite plan for an event in may when its only march. i have final exams that week and i dont know if ill be done by then, and if i am i may go back home to ny for a few weeks before coming back to boston for the summer. so for me, im going to try like i said, its better than just saying no f it im not gonna go lol

hey guys, (and gals) my name is manny, im the one who normally organizes these meets.
these 6gc hosted meets started a few years back with 4 6th gen celicas from www.6g.net meeting up to hang out, check out each others cars, meet other like minded people ect..and has turned into an upper east coast 6gc meet, with an open invite.
we always invite everyone, and encourage you to NOT seperate yourselfs from the group.
i mean hell yea, i can understand you guys all parking together, that just makes sense, especially for pics, but dont be afraid to jump right in with everyone, and introduce yourselfs, we're all pretty cool people who enjoy working on our cars, just like all of you!

we normally have at least a couple grills going, the past couple years what we have done is since the wifey has acess to buying food in bulk, she'll normally buy a box or 2 of hotdogs (theres 100 per box) and a case or so of burgers, we pay for that and the buns to go with them, then we usually ask everyone to chip in a few dollars apeice for food (like 2-3$ at most is more than enough usually ) and everyone gets to have burgers and dogs at will.
everyone is welcome to bring whatever food they like to throw on the grill of course, and we encourage everyone to bring drinks. (no booze please, its against park rules, and we'd prefer NOT to get thrown out..lol)

in fact, we have a 6gc memeber, who works at the local bristol toyota, who will soon be racing a scion sponsered by toyota.
come out, have a burger and dog or 2, and enjoy the fun!

 

first off, i just want to say (if thats your car in your sig) that your car looks SICK! i have always liked that body style celica the best. and like i said before i will try to make it. maybe even bring the mrs. and i can guarenty that if i go salik (zdawg) is going
