Well after some feedback and such, we decided to go harder!

We've revamped the materials used, and allowed for a much harder and more durable unit to be used. Let's compare the specs!

The old heims:
POLY bushing insert
Mild Steel coated housing
Mild Steel ball

The new heims:
Teflon lined insert (used in bullet-proof vests!!!)
303 SS Body
440C SS Heat Treaded Ball

All though the head of the heim appears a little smaller, all of the components in the equation are harder and more durable than the previous models. So those with back orders, sit tight because the new ones are being sent out as your order was placed.

How are the fronts working for you?

 

they still keep on coming loose but I will try to solve that this weekend will post up more information when I find a fix on this.

 

Did you tighten down on the jam nuts?

 

yeapo and i tried extending the height as well still came loose with with some lock tight. when youg uys tested it how many miles did you run it for ? Mine seems to start coming loose after a few days or so worth of daily driving

 

Measure the center to center length of your stock and then ours. You need to be close to the same. We drove for quite sometime before we took them off with no problems.

So FedEx decided to try to deliver them at 1030 this morning, with no one home.

If they try again tomorrow, mine'll be on tomorrow evening.

 

I'm still getting this problem. I'd hate to take them off because I love them. When I get some time, I'm gonna maybe pull them off, measure, re-install, and see if someone can impact gun those bishes on for me.

 

Just installed the new REAR endlinks.

They're a bit shorter than the stock ones, and certainly WAY stronger. They're probably better suited for lowered cars (to return swaybar to parallel), but they will make a decent handling difference nonetheless.

The swaybar will help with a long sweeping turn (in autocross). It'll also help with the sharper, faster turns, but you'll notice there's still a small amount of initial body roll before it starts turning.

I'm thinking that's the stock endlinks, because now that's pretty much gone. Car's a LOT more responsive, almost to the point of slightly twitchy (TRD-race, stock springs/shocks, 18'sx 7.5)... but that's actually how I like it. I'm really curious to see how it'll handle a slalom, I think it'll be able to weight transfer and dart side-to-side a lot faster.

I'll check them again in a day or so, see if they're coming loose like the front ones are supposedly. I don't think that'll be the case though, I torqued them down as hard as I could at that angle (perhaps 80-100 ft-lbs).

Note: Installed a DME rear strut bar at the same time.

can we get a pic of version 1 to version 2 comparison? i just got mine on friday and have no clue which version i have, not that it matters too much.



these were a tad longer than stock when fully compressed (i.e. tightened) towards each other which worked out great cause from what i read you generally want the swaybar to be parallel to the ground and the endlink to be vertical as possible, which is what i managed to achieve above. these were much beefier than stock endlinks and i wasnt afraid to break em while tightening =p

Those look different from the ones I got. I'm not sure if they're verison 1 or 2. I was told I was receiving version 2.

Mine are also pretty short. I had trouble getting them to the length of the stock endlinks. So therefore, while the whole connection and stabilization part of the suspension is stronger, my swaybar isn't as parallel as it could be.

With lowering the car, I'm sure that'll be a different story though. At that point, the length will be perfect.

Even if you or I got the first version, that's still 100x stronger than stock... and I'm happy nonetheless.

 

I agree, these are way better than the pencil thick stock endlinks. i had to compress mine almost fully though and they were still a tiny bit longer than stock but they work much better.

 

From the fellas with the TRD bars in particular, would you like a shorter or longer endlink for that harder setting. We can make them as short as 3.25-3.5" center to center.

4" center to center is what stock is.....
