View Full Version : Alignment Ravisxb 03-13-2008, 02:18 AM did anyone align their xb. my tires seem fine there not wearing out in an unusuall way. u think i should get it aligned> TrevorS 03-13-2008, 03:16 AM What has happened to it that might possibly result in an alignment issue? draxcaliber 03-13-2008, 03:18 AM have you been rotating them every 5000 miles? are they properly inflated? have you lowered it at all? CIONIDE 03-13-2008, 04:16 AM If you changed your tires and wheels, or springs, get an alignment. The alignment specs are stickied at the top of this sub-forum. Ravisxb 03-13-2008, 12:33 PM ive had it lowered with tanabe df 210 and the steering isnt pullin to left or the right.its fine CIONIDE 03-13-2008, 01:39 PM After I dropped mine on Tanabe springs, it drove straight, and didn't pull either, but my toe-in was between 3 and 4 times what it should have been. Car drove fine, but tires would have worn very quickly. It's your car, and they're your tires, but I saw a $60 alignment as cheap insurance against $400 worth of tires. TrevorS 03-13-2008, 05:07 PM ive had it lowered with tanabe df 210 and the steering isnt pullin to left or the right.its fine You ABSOLUTELY should get it aligned! Ravisxb 03-13-2008, 07:04 PM Thanks toyota did it for free Ravisxb 03-13-2008, 07:09 PM did they use the 04-06 scion xb specs for your scion TrevorS 03-13-2008, 11:32 PM Thanks toyota did it for free Nice! It cost me 65 bucks :(, though I didn't try Toyota! bloody_mess 03-13-2008, 11:34 PM haha we can get alighnments for xbs 20 to 30 max done here and my tc done for 40. what a steal TrevorS 03-14-2008, 05:20 AM That sounds like a two wheel alignment, not four. kortik 04-02-2008, 08:45 PM well you cannot align the back anyways on the xb its a solid beam. if someone does 4wheel alighmnt they are ripping you off. just do front 2 wheels XD40tC 04-10-2008, 10:35 AM Your front toe will most likely be the only issue after lowering so definitely get it aligned! Luckily, I get free alignments at work :D |
