Anyone install one of these under the hood, Not sure how
to do it and am afraid if I do it the way I'm thinking it will
short circuit. Any help would be great.

I hope to be installing one tomarow night. Going to run all the chathodes and leds off it . they will all come one when i pop the hood. Let ya know and will take a few pics once im done.

just some info. I was going to drill it into the header panel,
then use one prong for lights and the other for power. then
just ground it to the chassis or any metal on the car. Now
what I thought about was that it could short circuit due to
the fact that it would be drilled into part of the chassis
because the whole switch except for the head is metal.

And that being said, from view, it would become a problem
because the prongs will have power to them but would also in
some way be attached to the chassis. and you cant ground
and have power on the same object.
