can anyone tell me what how big the pipes are on this? ive been searching but i dont see any places that lists them. Would help a bunch thanks.

 

it doesnt matter much, since its only an axle back, its probably a 2 and a quarter, or 2 and a half

stock sepcs would be 2 and a quarter? im wondering because i have 3 inch right now and if i were to get a TRD exhaust i wanna know what i have to switch the rest of the pipping to. I dont wanna run 3 inch into stock piping. IF they are Stock specs, 2 and a quarter. ill just stick with what i have.

 

3 in definetly provides more flow....but it is way too big for a stock/mild mod engine

 

yea stock specs is 2.25 i think.. i know it's less than 2.5" for sure. are you boosted?

 

what mods do u have in ur car that you need a 3 in? and why are u changing it?

 

the trd has 2 size pipes, the one before the can is smaller than the one after the can.

 

Just to clarify, ESEMRFOZZ13's statement is accurate when looking at the exit of the trd exhaust and going toward the front of the car. The "exit" pipe is slightly smaller than the "inlet" pipe which goes into the canister from the engine.

 

lets put it this way. buy it for the sound/warrant, not for the power........

 

im not looking for power in the exhuast. i am boosted and im running 3 inch, i want it for the sound but i wanna know how big the inlet pipe is. (the pipe before the can)

 

im changing it because i dont like the way my pipes are ran and its loud. lol

 

theres way more better exhaust out there for boosted motors. dezod makes a great 2.5 inch one. any lower than a 2.5 would kill your power numbers

Hmm... Should be 3 inch piping. Get some measure tape just in case or you can always call the parts department for better specs

It sure is bigger than stock, though.

 

ive heard its the same size as stock. i can garentee its not 3 inch. 2.25 at the most

 

don't put a trd axleback on a boosted engine. there'll be way too much backpressure and it might even hurt your turbo. and the trd is definitely not 3 inches.
