so yesterday i was driving down the highway and all of a sudden, i lost all my oil pressure and my oil light came on, and the car shut off. i pulled onto the side of the road, and had a friend bring me two quarts of oil. after putting that in there, we started her back up and she had a wierd noise coming from the left side of the engine block whenever i would let off of the gas(a ratteling, but not constant). the dipstick said i was fine on oil, so we took off again to take it home..... i got about another half mile when i lost my oil pressure again and it shut off. my buddy followed me the second time and said that he didn't see any oil leaking or coming out of the car.... i am only at 7 pounds of boost, so i didn't think i was putting that much stress on the pistons.... any suggestions before i crack everything open and decide the turbo is cursed and take it all off?

i had some tuning done, but it was supposed to go in the shop next week to fine tune it.

Do a compression test. I had a random metal clanking noise in my old saturn when I lost a piston (I actually put a hole in the top of it and I was stock!).

 

check your coolant,see if it looks like chocolate milk,if it does its time for some repairs.

Check your oil pump and bearings. Tc's has history with oil pump failure.
