so my bud with the red s2k went down to streets with his s2k club last thursday. after hanging out at ale house they went to starbucks. on the way to there cars they were hassaled by the rent-a-cops two of them smarted off to them and a state trooper came up and gave the 2 guys of all things MOB ACTION TICKETS! so it looks like if you show up there then you are most likely asking for trouble. so it looks like i will be hitting up strats from now on.

Mob action ticket will get thrown out BC its hard to prove. Secondly, its usually a mustang or camaro trying to be hot stuff and rev up then burn out. I don't know why but oh well. Last year we were up there and the cops were cool. Talking to us and making sure every one was calm. They r on bikes so they blend in well.

thats the first time ive ever been there and had the cops come and last year i went every weekend.
wierd, everytime i pull in now my radar starts freaking out and says laser.
it never did last year...in fact, i didnt even know it had laser detection. lol

thats a shame.... i liked the location of streets more than strats, but i guess strats is going down too pretty soon.

we need to find a nice industrial road tucked away somewhere, not near anyhouses or other buildings that might be occupied at night.
that way theres no one to call the cops when some dumb mustang driver decides to rev it up and do a burnout.

What about oak brook? Its not too much further than woodfield. About 10min away.

i think malls are pretty much out of the question.
they seem to get busted really quickly, especially since most malls have security gaurds driving around them all night

You're kidding about Oakbrook right? I work there and the cops sre sweatin the cars we work on out side our shop. Ans you want to hang out there? There is no where to hang out anymore. i gave up on doing that years ago. All the toolbags keep blowing for everyone else. 4 corners was cool until it turned into a landfill everynight. It got canned cuz of the litter. So.....

cruises get ruined because of a few people who can't keep their music down & can't keep a light right foot.

we are all ambassadors. it sounds silly to say, but when one of us misbehaves, it looks bad for all of us.

That's why hotrod cruises frown on imports & musclecars. Not because they're all narrow-minded. They were in our shoes 30 or 40 years ago...

haha ^^ that's why i love twin city cruisers nights in bloomington where that's all it is is a cruise in and you get all the old people in their hot rods reving and what not but hate when an import does it. (granted most that are dumb enough to sit there and do it are riced out honduhs, and yes seriously they are sh!t looking/sounding hondays driven by 16 y/o's most of the time)
