Default Stock wheels and these rims work?

I been doing my research and many people say MB's Weapons are Final Erasers so I really want to get these but I asked the guy who sell them on ebay and he says they wouldn't fit well on the stock tires because the offset is 48.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...m=270214932792

Is it because they WOULDN"T FIT? or they wouldn't fit properly to have proper rubbing? I really want to get these without actually getting new tires.

the other possible option are these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...m=270214434312 and I don't think they'll even fit since the lug nuts are different from 5x100 right?

they would stick in a little more than the stocks do since stocks offset is 45.......might want a little more pushed out like a 40 offset.

Offset does not affect the tire size. If he's selling you wheels, he should know something about them. I wouldn't buy from him.

You can get them. They will fit. He just doesn't know what he's talking about. Just try to get a lower offset. Try and get an offset from 35-40. If you get it in the 17x7 size, you can keep your tires too.

If I do get them what will be the result of me getting the realms at 48 offset? Would it cause them to break easily? or less stable ride?

No, it just means that the wheels will be tucked in really far. The lower the offset, the more flush with the fenders. Flush is good. Aim for something between 35 and 40 offset.

x2, I think a 48 offset might end up looking funny in that size...

So there is no difference in the integrity of the rims right? I just want to make sure if I do get it it doesn't break in a few month.

just that its tuckered in more of the wheels ok
