Hey everyone, I will be installing a LED Undercar kit on my xB tomorrow and wanted to see how anyone placed their tubes. I have an idea for the front and the rear, but im trying to hide the tubes on the side as good as i can so you arent able to see the LEDs. Also i wanted to see how everyone ran the wiring for the front and rear tubes. Thanks!

do your leds show on the side. it looks like they would. do you happen to have a pic of the side view from the ground with the kit turned on?

Thats a good clean install dmpsk8.
I did mine very similar.
I did put my side ones a little farther in, right next to the core support looking thing, because it tucked a little bit more.
On mine, you couldnt see them from the side unless you are laying on the ground. I took a few pics a while ago. I'll find them and post em up.
But now that I have my K-style lip kit on, you cant see them even if you are laying down. The Lip kit is about 1.5" lower than stock lips.

Here are my lights with the stock lip kit.
You can see them only if you get low to the ground.
Everyone else driving or standing will not be able to see them.
But now I dont have to worry about that with the aftermarket lip kit

my tubes dont show from the side, unless ur almost on the ground. But eh deeper the better
As far as the wiring, I ran my passenger side tube wires to the rear driver side. rear tube hooked in here. then those two tied into the driver side tube. from there i ran the wiring to the driver side front of the car and hooked up the front tube. at the point i was directly underneath the battery so i ran the power straight up. finally i ran a switch to the the dash
securing ur side tubes depends on how they are designed. many come with clamps u attach to the cars under body, others attach w/ screws at the ends. If you drill holes down there make sure to take care of em so they dont rust

I ran all of my wireing out of the grommet under the drivers side floor board.
Remove the plastic pieces on the door sill & kick panel, then pull up the carpet. You'll see a rubber insert. I cuth an "X" in it to allow all the cables to go through.
From there it goes to the four sides of the car. I followed some existing black tubes or cables under there already, and zip tied the cables for the lights.
To attatch the LED Tubes I used the mounting hardware that came with my kit.
You screw the mounting bracket to the body, then ziptie the LED tubes to that. Pretty simple.
I dont think I ever took pics of the install process.

make sure u seal the grommet if u cut it tho. if u ever get water inside ur car the dealer will blame it on this.
