Default Best resonators?

What are the best resonators that are out there with or without headers? I've herd some people still get annoying rasp when they have the 22in. magnaflow resonators installed. i know rasp wont completely go away but just wondering if anyone out there knows some good ones and post some pics of their setup and videos for their sound.

I dont have any vids but I do have the 22 in magnaflow res. Yes it still gives rasp. I am sure itll be worse once I slap my mipipe and s-pipe on too. I would reccomend adding a glasspack or a 14 in high flo cat. You should be good with either.

Aero's line of resonators are the best out there in my opinion, don't go with magnaflow.. overated. an Aero AR25 is all you need.

I am getting an aero ar25 welded on to the megan midpipe. That should take care of rasp from my dc header.

i don't think actual aero exhaust makes them anymore, they're not on the site at www.aeroexhaust.com
i purchased one off of ebay from mandrel bends, they don't have anymore left, seems like they were just selling what was left over

i paid 51 bucks shipped for mine on ebay from the same 'mandrel bending' dealer. i have it welded on my megan midpipe, its replacing the small resonator that was originally on there.

they (www.aeroexhaust.com) must have just updated their site because i was browsing it not more than 2 weeks ago and they had the AR25 listed on there, now they only have the AR20 and AR30. you should be able to pickup the AR25 from a handful of different delaers on the web, just google Aero AR25

would the ar25 work on the stock midpipe? since it's 2.5 vs 2.25.

i'd upgrade the midpipe all together, not just the resonator. the megain midpipe is very nice imho. not my picture, but below is what it looks like with an AR25 welded on:

but to answer your question yes it would work, however i'm not sure how much quieter it would make it from what the stock resonator can do.

So would a AR25 attached to a custom midpipe reduce the rasp I have in my mmw, s/c, and and precision muffler exhaust setup?

yes by alot. But if it doesnt completely get rid of it, add a high flow cat or one more decent sized resonator and youll be stylin.

did the magnaflow resonator affect the sound at all? if so how? quieter? deeper?

I have the megan headers and TRD axle-back setup. As soon as I put the headers on I had a horrible rasp. I ended up getting the 22" Magnaflow resonator and it gave it a quite deeper/throatier sound at idle, but if I get on it in 1st or 2nd gear it still sounds like a fart can. I would say the magnaflow eliminates about half the rasp.

My question is would a high-flow cat help eliminate any of the rasp as well, or change the sound at all?
