The RS2 is SOLD...to a nice couple, made sure to tell them about the meets.
I'll be driving a 1987 Hyundai Pony for a while now :yawn:
but might fix up the BOP a bit and borrow it for drives.

Anyways, just thought I'd throw in my two cents about a venue...how about the coquitlam ikea? decent food, big parking lot (just set up in one of the outside corners, or undercover when it's raining) and we can show the unenlightened how our compacts will carry more furniture than their suvs. Plus its pretty central so cruises can either go east or west depending on our mood.

That does sound like a good place. Bu ti thin that the lot can get very busy on sale days. How much did the RS2.0 sell for?

Seeing that we did not get an update string gong to change the place... We will meet at Metrotown again and next month we will change it up and get post out early so everyone knows where we will be meeting for the August meet and greet.

I haven't had a chance to discuss with others but, I was thinking that we could meet at Metrotown a 10:30am to 11:30 am then head out to Guildford Mall from 12:00 to 12:30 as Bubba McNasty is not available until about 1:00pm. At 12:30 we would head out towards Langley where we will meet up with Bubba and he will lead the way out to Harrison. Exo, Food stops could be at Metro Guildford and Harrison if you wish JK.

I was hoping to get out a few calls to other members before posting but if everyone is alright with this setup, we can make it work.

Please post up if you plan to attend so we know if we are waiting for anyone.

September will be a great time for head out the valley and this will be the longest cruise set up to date. Summer is almost over so lets try and get a great turn out.

For December 14th we will be meeting at the IKEA in Coquitlam on Lougheed Hwy.

Same time 11:00 am to 12:00noon and cruise from there, Hopefully the weather will be nicer than last month :pray:

I'm down more than ever to start these meets up again, I think once everyone is off their winter tires there will be more interest.

Weather was so nice and I bought new rims and tires, awesome deal off Craigslist. Running on 15's like you Phatbass, still have the 18's and will still run them. I am back on the road for work and buying new rubber for the 18's costs more that the 15' rim and tires, and the ride is not so choppy.

Post some thing up and I will be there, I am too busy to start planning the next one, but would love to meet up.
Just won some more goodies on ebay so they will be getting installed in the next little while too.

Hey Guys Im up in Abbotsford, Coquitlam and Vancouver all the time. I should give you heads up and maybe we can meet up. Im coming up next weekend from Friday till Monday.

So far I have only seen 2 first gens. Yellow Xb with air ride suspsension in Abbotsford. And black or green first gen sporting some 15" in Coquitlam.

I've seen a silver one down in White Rock, and a white one on highway 15(176 street)
thats about it though
