I don't like it.....to me you just gave up some really good space and when you park it at a mall or outside a movie theatre your asking for a breaK INand really I mounted my 4.5" Monitor in the same space but up against the back wall and since its black it blends in and perfectly visible.

what good is that space?? nothing will stay there, and just throwing a monitor in like yours looks cheap

 

ok so since i didnt spend my lunch money on a piece of flat cut out plexi with carbon fiber vinyl sticker on it and instead invested it in a quality monitor and saved some space and not to mention not advertising that my XB has video equipment in it is cheap looking its mounted on the dash itself securely ahh so you want me to put flowers around it and a neon sign that reads "break in steal my dvd system" I live in a well traficated area if i had that setup. I would be on the moped forum cuz thats what I would be driving right now.

 

note that I said that it wasn't mine, and no you are wrong too, that is real Carbon fiber by nish designs

humpty111 im blind as a bat ...i didnt see the monitor on ur pics..so if that was the purpose..you have achieved it..however i want to see a close up for me to gaze, drool, and admire

 

thats exactly why i mounted it against there its in the same spot as the silver framed monitor except that mine is all black except for the matching orange buttons on the right hand side. I wasn't knockin the first install really i just hate to lose space on these cars as I already ate up the rear area with boom. Plus my wife puts our work ids on there and it holds are remote controls for the dvd / tuner & Turnpike tickets too. None of it falls off because I don't drive around like I'm in a drifting run. Unlike my wife in the AM when she drives to work she is road rage queen. but thats another story.

I plan on doing this or something similar. Only I want a bigger screen. Mainly for an xbox. The pic up above looks like a photo shop picture.

 

Roger (Scionara) has had a screen in there for over a year now. Nice clean install too. I should have him post a pic.

 

I knock on what I don't like, I wouldn't have said anything if I wasn't insulted by him. I think ranode's lighting is way over priced, and I never knock on other people's stereo, I may have said that I would be better to have a after market head unit but that is about it. As far as boomerang's armrest, that is a product that I was knocking, because I don't like it, not someone’s work. And yes, the only thing that I admit to knocking, is the evo5 kit that some guy put on his car, because frankly I find it the ugliest thing I have ever seen, and when they ask for my input, ill knock it if I don't like it.

So why not take your own advice worry about your own self, and it would be any prize, not "no prize", that is a double negative.

 

I don't like the monitor sitting in the middle of the cubbie hole either. Looks cheap and is not a clean install. That cover by nish designs isn't that great either looks like it is not curved to match the shape of the dash. Maybe a lot of people like it just because it is CARBON FIBER! So many people on this site in on a CF binge.

 

I think that alot of stuff that I don't like, id don't like because it isn't custom, why get a sub box from best buy? its the same sorta thing, its effective but looks bad

Hmmm.. I agree.. it's asking for someone to steal it. If you could cover it up somehow with a release dropping door!.. nvm.. that's too much custom work.. =[
