Default questions about overlays/appliques ?

When applying the cf or anyother type of applique to the exterior to the vehicle in which there is paint. Does it affect the paint under where the applique is applied.
Such as the cf gas door, or door handles. If you apply them, then take them off later would it peel the paint or leave some sort of sticker tape marking.
As of right now im thinking about getting the door handles from both randode and bat, and the gas door, and possibly the rear hatch over the license plate in cf applique.
But want to be sure it wont ruin anything.
thank you

no it wont. what may happen is that you could get fading on the whole car except those places where you have the decals or w/e you choose. as for the paint, unless you do something terribly wrong and im not sure you can, you wont have chipping or pealing. in otherwords, i wouldnt worry about it

btw where do you find a carbon fiber decal for the hatch? id love to find one for my box. currently i have the big decal package from ebay and i love it! :D

if its on there for a while it may leave some glue when removed, but goo-gone takes it right off.

Aside from that randode, i was wondering if you make, or can make some covers for the sunvisors to cover the warning labels, either in gray or cf vinyl.

i want the real thing too. but its too damn expensive for my tastes. i would be up for an overlay though. something decent and cheap would suit me fine. i may make my own i guess ill tell ya if i try it or not
