Has anyone put the Scion Nav system in a older model TC

I am thinking about putting the new scion nav system in my 06 TC. Is it possible?

I believe the connections are the same. I have a few 06 and back head units and the nav units in my stock. I'll check once I get back in the office in a few hours...

Really? My dealer says it is not possible...What should I tell them in order to get them to install the nav unit?

They seem like douchebags. I mean, you see people put in all kinds of aftermarket systems. How can this not work?? That dealer's full of it

Basically, they tell me that the "wiring is different in the 08 tC"...Blah Blah Blah.

Also, is it true that you lose the stock door cover when you go for the nav option?

First off the toyota connections have been the same since 1984...Yes it will work we have retrofitted one in an 05 for a customer. Second you do lose the door if you use the fit kit... there is a way to keep the door but the door needs to be trimmed out in order for it to work and the door doesnt work as smooth as it did.
