I wax everything that's not vinyl or rubber. Meguiar's is all I use, hard to beat for the price.

The Meguiar's NXT wax? That stuff is okay. It's only $15 and it's a slight cleaner wax, so it does help to polish a little. I used it a few times and it gives decent results, but it also depends on what color you have, some colors just aren't conducive to reflection.

Try using a clay bar beforehand and then waxing. You'll notice a big difference.

Or if you really want it to shine wash it, then clay, then buy a DA Buffer and use some meguiars #83 on it then follow up with NXT. The 83 will get most or all swirl marks out resulting in more shine.

Not familiar with clay bars.

I use NXT for waxing and cleaning the inside dash. Works and smells great to me.

Note:
Do not leave wax on the car, in the sun for about 8 min.
you will regret it
i already ruined my car trying, but hey, its the thought that counts right?

if you want the best finish then try this:
1. wash
2. clay bar
3. wash again
4. cleaner wax
5. polish
6. wax

i highly discourage people from using a buffer as it tends to leace swirl marks and burn the finish if you don't know what you are doing which most people don't. random orbital polisher is the best way to go.
