So I have a few little touches planned for my exterior, but Im not 100% sure how to go about it. First I want to crystal stud my tC emblem on the rear. I have thought about using 3M tape or a clear epoxy, but dont know what to use or if there are any other options. Next I wanted to paint my engine cover (not valve cover) but dont know what kind of paint to use. I also wanted to crystal stud my extra Razo shift knob for shows but didnt know how to go about it or what kind of adhesive to use. Also have planned to do the door panels in white leather but I have never done any kind of interior work and dont know how to go about it. Lastly, I ordered a VRD black grille for my car, but the lower grille isnt cut to fit foglights and I have absolutely no clue how to go about making it fit (Im sure it will involve a Dremel though). Im kind of new to the whole exterior and interior car modding thing. Great under the hood but not so good with making the interior and exterior looking amazing. LOL. Any help is truly appreciated!

IMO about the lower grill just leave it and get rid of the ugly oem fogs. Get some vrd's :P

to apply rhinestones, you will have to use a heavy duty glue and don't 3M tape them. There is another person on here who did this to her emblems...if you search you might be able to find and ask them what type of glue they used. Click link, scroll down till you see pics of the rhinestone emblem:

Painting your engine cover is real easy. It's just like spray painting interior parts which there is a DIY on here for. The type of paint you will need is a high-heat spray paint at least above 200 degrees. I painted mine silver with dupli-color high heat enamel from the auto store.

Re-upholstering the door panels is a tricky mod, because it takes lots of time and patience. There is a DIY guide here:

As for the fog lights, I would replace them with aftermarket fog lights that go in the vents, or you can find a way to mount the OEM ones behind the VRD grille. Do not recommend cutting the grille, because you will be ruining it if you decide to sell later.
