Rim change on the garage1217 car, advice welcome
I am thinking of changing the rims on my ride... Somthing a little more rare with class. I am into 5 spoke wheels and favor split 5 spoke wheels. Sorry I suck at photo shop but these are accurate to size compared to my current 18's. They are i-forged concepts.... I need to keep the 18's as I need a rather meaty tire to keep traction to a... sorta decent level so I do not want to run 19's with streached rubber bands or anything like that...
If I order them, I am going to have the center section done in hyper black or gunmetal.

iforged concepts or aeros are very good.
also check out www.sevasforged.com on their r5's
if you have the money go to to hre and pick up a set of them. also check out dpe wheels.
so in conclusion
iforged aero's

sevas r5's

i really like those because the spokes have a ton of personality, i have a contact there i can probably give you if you're interested.
and for a totally different

i like them.
and of course the classics

I am not really interested in spending $4000++ on a set of rims for a car I can buy used for $6000 more than the rims *LOL* That money can wait for a new toy I plan to buy worthy of rims as pricey as HRE's. Can I afford them? No problem, but common sense kicks in.
If I were buying wheels today, I'd look no further than Boze / ZE Wheels. Rims are made to order in your choice of PCD, offset, lip size, color, you name it. You can even get custom engraved centercaps.
Best part of all? Usually in the neighborhood of $350 a wheel.

Those look nice, DocIso.
One problem with the tC, is that the stock brakes/rotors are so crappy-looking, if you get wheels that are "open" they show all that skimpy brake/rotor junk.
You almost have to get a nice set of brakes/rotors to go with certain rims if they don't cover it up.
