Since I get bored real fast when I don't have anything to mess with, I was thinking of changing my transaxle fluid out to synthetic to make those shifts just a little smoother. Only problem is I'm not sure where the drain and fill plugs are. I looked at the manual pics with my premium membership but I don't want to mess with anything until i'm sure of what I'm doing. Does anyone have any pics of the plugs? Or can anyone help describe the exact location or maybe something in the manual i'm missing?

Thanks for any help.
Jesse

I changed the fluid to royal purple in mine. The two plugs are exactally the same part. One can be seen from the dr side of the car. It's on the lowest point of the trans case. The other one is on the front side of the case slightly higher up. There is an aluminum washer behind each one that is recommended to be changed. The washers are cheap. I changed mine but kept the old ones as insurance.

So how did the tranny/diff respond? (everybody who changed theirs)

I've been considering to change mine to some Redline variant, but haven't decided which one yet.
