Whats different besides the tint and front lip?

tint overlays on tails, tanabe NF210s, wheels, tanabe exhaust (maybe TRD I forget), and a few other odds and ends.

As far as I know, my xD was the only real modified (outwardly) one at United other than Mike Ma's orange xD.

My wheels, overlays (front bumper, tail lights, turn signals), tints, the fin, the drop and that was uber shiney caught their eye. :P

That black piece on your bumper looks better on the xD than it does on the tC. Cleaner with the defined lines on the xD's bumper.

The installation was time consuming and I located the switch per instructions.

Did you by any chance take high-res shots of the materials? I want to see what the kit looks like, or at least some up-close high-res shots of the lights themselves and where they're mounted. How bright are they? Make any difference while driving?

Here is a high res shot of one of the lights installed. The quality is on par with the rest of the car. The foglight uses an H8 bulb, so I guess it is bright as the headlights, I installed Sylvania Silverstar ultra lights the first day I got the car, so I can't compare to stock lights. The foglights 'brighten' up the road in front and illuminate to the sides, but nothing drastic. The Sylvania's were a hughe difference from the stock headlight bulbs.

I am looking for a set of fogs that lights up the road more, as far as bumps and what not. Low profile tires and lowering springs = me not being a happy camper when I hit bumps, pot holes, etc.

The stock headlights with the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs do a great job of lighting up the road - very close to HIDs ( my previous car had HIDs and these come very very close).

The foglights are a three piece affair; the light itself, the front bezel and a rear bracket that is held together through the opening in the bumper by four screws. The kit comes with a self adhesive template that you locate by the four screw holes, and then trim (I used a Dremel tool) some bumper material to allow the front bezel to mount flush.

The front bezel is concave and the factory panel (black part) is flat (and has clips where the foglight's screws go). Hope that helps.

You might have to adjust your headlights since your car now sits much lower than stock. Here are the instructions for the foglights:

Looks good Chels!! I need to get around to getting more done and detailing mine..need to clay the whole thing and put a few coats of wax on. Maybe even buff it. Paint wasn't all that great when it was sitting on the lot. I think it was at port for a little while. It had railroad dust seemingly burned into the paint on the rear bumper and a few other spots. Luckily the rear bumper was repainted for another reason as well as both passenger doors.

Chles, passenger doors were repainted because some kid put a dent in my door with a softball in the body line towards the bottom. Had to be blended with the rear passenger door. Rear bumper was repainted because while it was at the dealer getting the engine mount repaired someone bumped into the rear bumper and left the screw indent in the paint from where a front license plate would be (or was). I never tried to get the railroad dust out, but I would have eventually gotten around to trying. I'm sure it would have buffed out.

I get my HIDs in a week or 2. And the way im getting them installed, the ballasts will be completely hidden and they will look stock. Cant wait :D

Nice! :) Nothing wrong with a stock car what so ever. I still think the xD looks like a bug from the front if you have all the doors open and the wipers pointing out.

Are those the original cobblestone streets? God I wish SoCal had character like that!

I live nowhere near the street in the pictures but yeah those are the old cobblestone streets from the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The city haven't paved this section of the city since the 1940's when New York were making battleships and destroyers for the war effort. Infact, there is still a fully functional railyard that uses those tracks to export stuff across the factories.

I intentionally took the pictures here for the vintage setting but would never come back here since it is really bad for the suspension and streets full of debris which may puncture my tires.

I got bored today and realized my battery was charged! :D

So my dad called Scion Corps PR agency to find out where in LA my billboard was and they told him it was off of Beverly and La Cienga by the Beverly Center in LA. Today we went out to LA to find it! Turns out its on a billboard behind a Levi 501 ad so you have to turn around to actually see it. Anywhos, my dad took pictures and managed to get a shot of me against my car when there was very little traffic in the way :)

Scion United back in May :) They used my car in the commercial and it got its own billboard which is in 32 cities nationwide I think.

I use photobucket. but you can use any site that allows you to upload photos.
