I been pondering weather it's been done or not but I tried it anyways.
I got xD headrests and wanted to see if they'd fit in the xB's rear seats cause they're slightly bigger than the tC's and I really like to flush look of them.

thats really sweet.i pulled my rear headrest so u could see my monitors from the rear. these are low profile and look like a good option

Headrests? Just take 'em out, that's what I did. You don't need 'em back there cause I find they block some of my view when looking back or reversing...but that's just me!

I tried this the other day. They are nice, but they don't lock in place like the xB ones. So if you're going to keep them down all the time, they look good, but they're quite uncomfortable to sit against.

and you can cut grooves to make em lock. i added a couple extra locking positions to my center headrest

Looks good but if you are planning to have back seat passengers, just not very practical.

^ They raise up and are just as useful, as long as you notch some locks in the posts like Kevin said.

They look nice like that but what would they look like if turned around?
I took all my headrests out right away. Love the look of the low buckets. Plus I like resting my arm around my girl when she is riding shotgun.

Got rear ended a couple times back in the 80's with low back bucket seats with no problems.
Whiplash is a lawsuit term used to describe a temporary sore neck that sometimes occurs. Depending on how you sit in a seat you can still get whiplash with head rests cause most people don't adjust them up where they need to be anyway.
Why do they call them headrests? They are in a bad spot to rest your head on while driving.

real headrests tilt.... i would love to have my front headrests tilt. i like when it touched the back of my head... so now i have to drive with the seat in the upmost locked position i kinda look a fool but its all for comfort.. anyone ever make/find a tilting mechanism for the fronts?
