i wanna get these instead of euro taillights and i know they are coming out soon .. looking for pics

 

a dealer on the board said he saw them at their meeting, but he couldn't get a pic. he seemed to described them pretty well. do a search and you should find it. the msg should only be a few days old. but as far as i know, no pics for the public as of yet.

 

that guy was answering me .. i was just wanting pics when they are available .. it may be a while ...

 

Will these look like standard tail lights, or will they be gaudy plastic chrome altezza knock-offs?

Looking at http://www.elegantebytyc.com/ doesn't give me much hope for non-altezzas

 

the guy said it wouldnt look like Altezza lights ... they will look more like an '05 Camry taillight except for theres LEDs and stuff ... the guy commented that he thought the looks werent that great but he still might get them ... i just wanna see pics so i can make a decision if they would look nice on the car ... so if anyone has pics send them over (yeah i know it probably will still be a while .. just looking)

 

look at the lights that TYC made for the xA and xB and you might get an idea what the tC tails might look like.

 

Here is a description of what I saw-and they stated that it was just about final except for the outline trim-maybe left clear or black.

Divide the light into 3 horizontal sections.

Top Section-Clear with chrome, 1/4 amber circle for turn signal-most inboard section

Mid Scetion-All red

Bottom Section-inner most 1/4 in square shape-back up light. rst of the 3/4's except for very edge-that wrapps around, a battery of clear LED's-3 or 4 high, maybe 10 across.

Funny it looks like tail lights on the 05 Camry-just with more bling. The LED's should light up nicely like in the prius.

I'm trying to get my hands on one and put it on the tC with the pedestal spoiler.

I'm not a big fan of the new 05 Camry tail lights. Should've kept the ones previously on it.

 

yeah me too. those tail lights looks huge

 

and they are ugly :D

 

I said kinda-just because it was divided into 3 sections-It should be more proportional than the Camry's-
