I got my car back yesterday from the paint shop. The paint is Rally Red from the new Lancers and Evos. I absolutely love it. I still have yet to working on my interior so excuse the mess and the missing parts. The shop I went to did a great job. Let me know what you think!

yeah, smoking my tails is on my to-do list. for everything it was only 2300, but the shop gave me a discount

Anyways, it looks good! :) I like the tan on the doors but not the center console. Now that I have a Scion I'm partial to the flakes in the paint instead of the flat look. Oh well. It still looks really nice.

Looks good. Not as good as the RS1 tho... just my opinion.

EDIT: red from the older Evo is Rio Red if thats what your thinking of

no problem. i was torn between goin a darker red or a dark green. im still leaning towards green but red is hot. i might have to do a midnight blue pearl over a gold base coat tho :P

did you paint the interior yourself? And how bout your key? Did you paint that yourself also?

the paint shop did the red parts of the interior; I did the tan along time ago, but now it doesn't work very well with the red. i did the key, but it turned out terrible so I just use it as a spare key now :P

I'm not sure, I never asked them, but they give a lifetime warranty on the paint so I'm not worried.

lol im glad you did too, theres only 1 other red (RS1) and theres a couple "shades" of red ( BCP, SCM) but nothing like this
