So I was wiring a new LED to the already exsistant lighting in the car when all of a sudden it no longer work none of it. So my cup holder illumination does not work the floor lights dont work and my new LED in the cubby on top of the glove doesnt work either.
I checked the fuses but none were blown
Ps.Every thing else works the turn signals headlights ect... :(
What am I missing?
Did I do serious damage?
How do I fix it?

This might sound like a silly question but I learned a long time ago to check the simple stuff first. Have you taken the new LED back out of the wiring to see if everything else works without it? If everything works without it your new LED may be shorting it out. Check your wiring. It's usually best to tap the hot and make a new ground instead of tapping another wire.

I have a hot lava and i have no idea where it is grounded don't worry about were it grounds to,with your light thing hooked out to a power, just poke through the insulator and make sure that it grounds, then do the same to the power

I have fixed the problem.
just to let everyone know there is an inline fuse between the lights and the switch before the fuse box.
Just FYI
Thanks for all that tried to help.

ok stupid, but common question did you hook up the power wire backwards? LEDs are not light bulbs, they dont function backwards.... i dunno, just trying to help... i always find the stupid stuff is what goes wrong 95% of the time
