Honestly DC Sports has got to be one of the waort tuner companies out there. There headers, suspension and exhausts are some of the worst. I wouldn't be suprised if you lose HP.

I'm most likely gonna purchase that this christmas, I'm a big DC Sports fan and I'm sure they wont let us down.

But that doesnt mean I would'nt appreciate some sound clips and/or a dyno graph

...but honestly do u think that its worth 630 bucks! i dont care how good of a company they are, i mean i dont see were they can steal peps money like that. of coarse DC's a well known name, but damn just like the axle back from injen, who want to pay that much just for a muffler and a little pipe on the side. i know that i can go to a local muffler shop for a complete cat back for 250 and be perfetly satisfied. but then again its also what the dyno has to say along with what it sounds like, because if it sounds really good and the dyno has a respectable # for a muffler, then i might consider it. the engine does sound nice, hope to hear what the dc's sond like. sorry its so long....later

its a full cat back system with resonator and CA legal.

and who knows what else they've done to the exhaust, coated? polished? ehh beats me but for that much $$$ i would say no to any exhaust system.

You could go to a muffler shop to get it done, but then you don't have the R&D that goes into these exausts. I'm not sayind I'd go out and buy an exaust for $630 ... that is a lot of money, but it's not like they bend a pipe, stick on a muffler, and call it a day. A lot of time goes into perfecting the design. And as we all know; time = money.

Coming from a Cobra/Lightning background... I never understood the pricing of cat back exhausts for most import vehicles. Its one pipe, one muffler, and one tip. Am I missing something?

I am glad to hear prelim reports that the stock exhaust on the tC is pretty efficient. I am still curious as to how much power the tuners are going to get out of the custom headers that are starting to come out. Hopefully they will mate up to the stock exhaust and give some decent gain. We will see...

Default DC's exhaust

I have a friend that works for AEM / DC sport. I am told it sounds really good. As for their performance, I have seen a few people blast them saying that they lie about the specs... DC / AEM has even gone as far as doing a dyno test for the public to show people that they were tell the truth.

I'm getting a hookup with a friend that has a new type of exhaust system that literally sucks the air out of the engine causing some extreme gain in torque...

?? -or so he says...

The Injen exhaust is an axelback and can be gotten from bbist, it's not on his website so you'd have to pm him (name "bBist") or contact him some other way

his website is www.bbist.com

K.. thanks man .. no Dynos on that yet im assuming i wonder if DC,s Dynos are out . I think i would only spend 400 + on a product if it shows a respectable gain.

Default DC Sport Exhaust

I asked about how they are going to make both the exhaust system and the intake pass imissions. All they will tell me is that they just have to jump throught the EPA's hoops untill it passes. On the intake they have developed some new carb trap blah blah blah..... I really don't care I just wish they would hurry up and ship them.
