Default Tone disk

Does anyone have a tone disk I can borrow........I cannot seem to download the ones I have found.........I wilkeep trying but right now the amp is set by ear onthe crossovers and although it is close........I am sure I am losing power and clarity at higher levels.........

By the way........when you sit in the car and turn it to 15 onthe volume are you supposed to feel the music......... now if I can get it tuned so I can go past 30 before it distorts...........so far I went to 20 and it was too loud........made me get out of the car........

bass starts to hit at 15...........not that cheap vibration, but the boom....make you head go ohhhhhhh.......... wish I had a real sub to push........250 watts is kinda ehhhhhh should of gotten a big boy 600w.........hmmmmmmm

as for testing i would suggest Dj magic mike stuff to test the whole system out

Dj magic mike

Drop that bass
you want Bass
vicous bass.
Bass test

dj tiesto
When i rock ( about half way into the song go to a lot of synth)

also load rock in some to make sure you not tuning too much Bass output as well. big line between too much bass and hitting. i think this is why my hearing is shot these days...lol

Ok I burned a disk at 50 hz and another at 120 hz...thanks to my talented wife.........me computer stupid........... ..........I think there is sound on it as I heard nothing during recording........mmust be normal right.........

My voltage tester will not read the low voltage in AC......although it should .......my boss said it was soft AC and my Fluke will not read it properly............so I am in the 100w per comp area.........but the amp wil push higher .......a lot higher......LOL

the sub is not what I expected.....it hits......but not with a rumble.......more of a thud........no distortion........just like a club to the head.........I am used to a vibration bass............. or a rumble........but I think what I am gettign is true bass......even for a small sub on 250w........minus proper crossover settigns.........

When I am in the car it is very loud........clear.........and sound really good......highs are a bit high......but I knew that going in........4 tweeters was a lot..........

I need someone to sit in car and tell me what it needs changed to work...........the boy is loud........but not perfect yet.......... you can feel the music in your chest and head.........yes feel at 15 on the volume.......at 20 it hurts the head in a pleasant way.........

I do not listen to rap or hip hop......so bass is not my personal fav.........but more in the rock to metal areas..............but I like bass too.........I like feelling my music...........

I tell you Brian, Frankenstein is the one you need, I'll bring it up north one of these times, we'll shatter windows with the highs, lol.

umm you might need to deaden the sub box. you want a like a sharp kick on the subs or the 80 style of bouncing quarters off the snug top when it hits. hopefully you have seen this before and know what i am talking about.

oops!

Yeah certified lol

Brian the quick thump bass is because of the sealed low qubic footage in the box you got. They work great for metal/rock and most of all country.

Congrats on the tunes. Yes I am old enough to use "tunes"lol

Got it tuned today and it is sounding good now.......it has what I am calling positive pressure inside now........the sub is hitting at 250w now and it is sounding good.....not bad for such a small sub.........

I gotta add the rest of my v4 foam tothe sub top to get the thing to stop rattling.....and i got a bit of rattle in the hatch.....I think it is in the liscense plate......I got foam for that too..............but at 30 on the volume you want out of the car as it hurts the ears.......and that is just the comps......they are fricken loud.........had to pull off some of the power to the front via the amp so it was tolerable.........LOL

Just think I can put 600w to a sub with this as well........1 Ohm stable.......fun fun.......but then no trunk space.....
