i know there has to have been a thread previously discussing this but im not having any luck. im definatly a noob when it comes to air ride setup. basically, im looking for a 'decent' quality setup that doesnt murder my wallet (yes, i know theyre pricey, but i dont need the 'best'). i already plan on getting it installed by professionals, but hoping somebody can lead me to info on where/what is best, and maybe if somebody knows of a list of everything i need to get? like i said im a complete noob when it comes to this but im very interested in learning and dropping my box. so far, all i know is i need mounts, a tank and the bags them selves...

i think i may have made myself look like to much of a noob. i know what it does, i know its compressed air, and i know it costs a pretty penny. but i figure while i save some money up, it will give me some time to research everything as well.

edit: when i say up and down, i mean to where i can drop it when i park, and be able to raise it to drive (thats my understanding of "up and down")

the best way to go is to piece together your own kit. Cheap and you can get the best parts.

Spend a long time and search anywhere and everywher for the best pricing. even cheap you will be looking at 1600.

I do not suggest cheap though. you don't want to be stuck on the side of the freeway with a blown bag or a bad fitting or a bum comp.

Oh so ur not trying to ya know have airbags to move the car or anything? (I don't know how to describe it any better! :P) I'd suggest AirRunner but that's probably a little out of your budget!

I used the KMW Performance set up and got rid of the lines it came with and put on all hard lines. Nice compressor, easystreet bags, all nice stuff. The tank doesnt come in chrome like the thorbecke brothers setup but mine is hidden under my raised floor

KMW has good deals on comps. that where I got mine at.
