so... 2005 xB. 47,200 miles... I/H/E. the alternator's on the way out... will the scion dealer warranty it ?

but you are beyond your bumper to bumper warranty, and i'm not sure if the alternator is part of the powertrain warranty. but no, those parts wouldn't have anything to do with the alternator.

They replaced my alternator and did not question the intake. The only thing that would void the warranty would be some substandard electtical work.
