Well, it looks like Perrin has discontinued the lightweight pulley for our boxes. I'm trying to buy one and nobody can get it. If anyone here knows of where I can get on please let me know.

Probably because it was ruining engines, lol.

I highly doubt that. I've had mine on for about 30,000 miles and have had no problems.

Here goes another one of those Lightweight Pulley Pros Vs. Cons threads.

What are the cons?

What are the cons?

pros: same rotating diameter as the stocker, just lighter. Ideal for supercharged applications.

cons: same rotating diameter as the stocker, the gas mileage increase you normally see with an underdrive pulley will not be seen here.

I know these because I have owned and installed both the perrin and the unorthodox pulleys on my xA and have experienced the differences.
