The Japanese 20-somethings are moving beyond car ownership and worship-and Toyota is feeling the effects:

With the rapidly growing cost of car ownership here is this what is to become of us here as-well?

Why is it when a car company comes out with a revised model they always get bigger and get worse gas mileage?

Why is it that Toyota been selling a plug-in Prius in Europe for years but not here?

because the ideology of cars is completely different between eurasia and america. we, americans, like to go from 0-60 in 2 mpg with the V8 hemis and 30" dubs. they like to increase the handling and comfort of all their cars, while making it easier to drive in their small packed streets
