Another teaser... Almost done... I'll have the completed pillar pics tomorrow.. Gotta wait for some resin to dry so I can trim it up... Then sand it all nice and smooth and clear coat!!!..
make sure to get those wrinkles to a minimum and good job using the vacume to do it....it is a art to pull wrinkles out of complex surfaces.......I used to hate it........looking very nice.....
It was a pretty simple overlay... the bottom part of it was a b*tch, and I'll show how it pull down there... But other than that, pretty cake...
I just now need to get some faster setting resin... WOuld totally make life easier...

You can let off the vacume and leak it witha valve in the corner and then pull the vacume and close valve again.......it will give you a bit of time to pull the wrinkles.....hard part is setting the bag......we used batting material to help get a flat surface that was nice and smooth.......
depending on the piece and size, I can actually do more than one at a time... I have a 2' x 4' bag I am using...
Anyways just sanded and spray some clear on it... So hopefully I'll have something to show tonight...
Also in the process of making a mold out of my mirror covers... hmmm... ;)
