Default thinking about going f/i

hey i have an 07 tc and as the title says i'm thinking about buying a super or turbo charger. first question i live in the great state of cali. (hahaha) but i was just wondering are there any turbo kits that are carb leagal? second question this is a daliy driver so i don't want to have a car that is breaking down or that i can't relay on so should i not be thinking about chargeing it. cause what it seems to me is when you charge it your looking into getting more problems with the car or your reiablaitly goes down. also what would be safer to go with a turbo or super charger. i know that a superchager takes more maintance the a turbo but i don't mind. thanks for you advice.

1st off search please!

second, your best bet would be a supercharger in the great state of cali.
A good practice if you do end up going turbo is to have some money set aside, because things happen. Oh, and there aren't any card legal turbo's, that has been asked alot.

from what i know about them, the 07 and up models are ok. it's the 05's and 06's that are duds. it really just depends on your power goals and how much you're willing to spend, and whether or not you want your warranty. after reading 4 or 5 really long threads about how people have bought a turbo kit and it's taken them forever and a day to just get the car running, that's enough for me to stay away from the "turbo-ing a non-turbo car" route.
