Default The 500whp Build (hopefully!)

Ok so after a few messages back and forth with Todd from TT we came up with a build that will suit my needs and hopefully put me where I want to be. That is 500whp or greater which should net me somewhere in the 10's in the 1/4 mile and also still be a daily driver. So heres what we came up with. Mind you im not doing any major headwork unless absolutely needed just a light port and polish most likely, ditto on the intake.

Turbo setup:

Manifold: T4 divided top mount dual 44mm wastegate flanges (sits where my battery is so I can keep AC and full width radiator)

4" Downpipe

TurboToyotas 3" Cat-back exhaust

GT4088R

Dual 44mm wastegates

3" chargepipe kit with air intake (coupler and clamps) powdercoated too

Garret IC core with custom tanks and mouting brackets (anodized black)

Oil feed/water lines steel braided with fittings and flanges

AEM EMS with plug n play adapter

AEM injector driver box

1000cc injectors

HKS SSBOV

AND FOR THE ENGINE:

ERL sleeved and assembled short block: 90mm bore stock stroke

JE pistons 10:1 at least

Manley rods

machined, assembly, bearings, crank work

Also a port and polish job on the head+intake manifold and like mentioned before maybe custom cams, built head down the road.

So if you have any comments or input feel free to share... Im open to any ideas

hopefully more than just a plan or not another unfinished project..

15K plus extra 10K insurance money will surely make the budget on the safe side

An LSD is a must, but at the same time there are other options as an LSD only does so much.

hopefully more than just a plan or not another unfinished project..
There is a plan.....granted its always evolving but there is a plan.

TT has the 3" exhaust out now??? Pics???
Its not out as far as release to the public..yet...trying to decide if I can produce these in quantites or do them in small production batches....3/5 at a time.

Plus there are 2 different style....but more on that later.

His car might see a 4" by the time its all said and done. It just depends on how the plan evolves....

There are things that you do right at the beginning.......and things that can be done later down the road as the project evolves and the learning curve kicks in....there is no need to do everything all at once.......makes the hill tougher to climb.

Planning is everything,....

Plus there are goals in various steps.....no need in bitting off more than we can chew

Regards-

Todd

Are you upgrading the fuel rail?

Good luck with the build. When are you planning on getting the ball rolling with the project?
