If you haven't already heard, Scion is holding an event titled Scion United on May 16-17 at a secret Nevada desert location. This is a complimentary event for you and a guest if chosen. Trust me, this will be an event not to miss..

Im assuming these are all of the 500 people that were picked to attend the event, but who are the other 24 people that got the original email? Was it just the Owners Contest winners? I only ask, because Im still interested in trying to get a hauler for us on the east coast with cars that shouldnt drive that far on one trip.

they havent gotten 500 cars yet so thats why thet are shooting out the emails for the people that entered and seeing who else enters, they are still selecting the top 22 or 25 whatever it is, i was picked for group 1 but turned down the offer, stupid i know but gas on my turbo will kill me on a 18 hour trip, im lucky to get a a full tank of gas with 2 hours if that lol and a whole week off work i cannot do with my company right now

still, pretty crappy of em to tease me like that. send me an email saying that "I made the cut" then as soon as i saw it i replied (less then 9 hours) only to be told they cut it off at midnight. :(

that cut off doesnt sound right.... at the bottom of the email they sent you, it should of had a link username (email) and password for you to accept it....

I got a phone call from Danny and excepted, driving from MD, 500 to 600 hundred for gas only. 2,442 mi – about 1 day 12 hours, from gmaps - one way. Taking off 3 days to drive there and another 3 days to drive back. I need to be there 5/14 at noon. Once there everything is included. Secret location 20 miles outside of Vegas, I assume they will put us up in Vegas. Also 3 A-list musicians are expected to play at the private party. WOO HOO! Mutha f-ing ROAD TRIP!

I recieved my Congrats from Scion United yesterday! I am defintely going! I am so ready for a nice 31 hour drive. The only thing standing in my way as of today is my manager's approval for the time off.

Me and my 08 xB made the cut. Which is a shock seeing as it's completely stock and I've only had it since February.

I'm driving from Springfield, MO but am really excited. After reading about the Miami event in 06, I can't wait to see what goes down in NV.

A Few People comming in for this event have expressed intrest in going to our thurs night meet on may 15th the day prior to the roll in for scion united... Anyone that is interested it will be at Wing Stop on the Corner of Tropicana and Decatur.. its about 2 miles west of the Strip. Very Easy to find... for those with navi. here is the info...

Just pulled this off of another clubs forms.

1) Tried every way to convince them to to get Scion to help with the gas expense of getting there, and its just not going to happen. Even the top 22 are on their own getting there.

2) About signing off on ads on your Scion. If they do not pay you to endorse their product, and they drag their feet on signing a wavier. Pull it off. Don't let this be an issue to stop you from going.

3) About needing to be someplace, or expected to be at an event once you are there. This is not the case. Everyone will have their own room at one of two resorts. Scion would like everyone to make the main event Saturday, and the other planned out events they worked real hard to plan. But if you and your guest decide to watch a movie instead. Oh well. That's your choice.

4) Liability with your ride. Scion needs to CTA (cover their ___) If your travels going to the event encounter damage. Sorry. The chance we take every day going to the store, and work. Now if one of their professional drivers tries to drift your stock first generation B, and hits a wall. They will take care of that. BTY this won't happen.

Once we arrive, our driving is over until we leave. There will be no show to stress out about, so leave your display stuff at home. Scion will have transportation for us during the event.

Two requirements: One: You must be signed up, and be selected to attend in advance. Two: You must arrive in a Scion to get in the event. No exceptions.

The ads want to show our club pride. So Get your best vinyl in time for the shoot.

With all of this being said. I can not stress the magnitude of this event. The only reason they can't tell us everything that is planned, is because if this hits the main street media, and non Scion owners find out. It would be all bad with fans, crashers, who knows.

drop off isn't until fri so you should have a car thurs night. i plan on hitxchhiking if i have to fri night to make the dropkick show at the hard rock. :D

Why was there no mention of 25 special cars being chosen? Its.. getting a bit strange with more and more details coming out from different places just to be pasted on to SL.

I'm sure the hotel will be near the strip and there is an overhead train on the strip anyway.

From what I know, this event will blow the doors off of any Vegas strip night. So I would say plan an extra day for that action. If you have enough energy left. :lalala:

the reason i coudlnt rsvp was because i was checking the disabled room box which i need a disabled room but my girl and her friend tryed it with out clicking that box and it went threw.

I originally got a call from Danny asking if I was available the 14th to the 18th of May for Scion United and that I was one of the 25 selected for group 1, that was a month ago, then today I got the email MissB is talking about. So, now I don't even know if I'm going, need to get some answers, fast, have emails and calls into Kevin, he is looking into it.

Scion_promos I still cant rsvp maybe im the only person having this problem?

I also have been unable to RSVP. At the last submit option it throws an error and it then redirects me to the main Scion.com page.

I'm just going to call on Monday.

Only registered once, called Danny, not getting much help there at this time. Talked to Kevin, he said he would get me answers and get back to me, but it looks like they are going to leave me hanging until at least Monday. If I recieve a package before then, great, if not, going to be on the phone looking for answers bright and early Monday morning. How hard is it to look on the list of names that are attending and see if I'm on it. I don't care if they decide to not use my car, but I have already gotten time off work, had scratch in car fixed, set up an appointment to have it detailed next weekend and have reservations in Boulder City for the 13th, I need to get answers so that I can cancel things if I'm not going. I have a headache, lol.

I think a lot of things will be cleared up as people get their packages from Scion United and can see just where and when they have to be certain places.

Well, looks like they don't even want me to show up, Danny is still trying to get answers, they are still trying to get people to sign up yet they are dropping people, said he has a dozen people with the same questions. Its like, hey, you won the lottery, oh, but we've decided to not pay it out this week, good luck next time, :tap: :loser: . Not feeling Scion at this moment.

I know what you mean...no sense in posting up the names of people irrelevant to the forum though IMO. Some people wouldnt want their name posted up on a forum for privacy reasons which to me is a good enough reason not to have a list.

After auditing the groups listed on both packages and website, we've
definitely found some inconsistency with the website. For now, please
assume that the Group # listed in the package is the correct one.

In the meantime we are working diligently to update the website with
the proper groups and we hope to get that completed by tomorrow. Will
send another email out when it is resolved.

Again if you RSVP'd some time ago and have not received your package,

The correct groupings that is already reflected in the package should
now be completely updated on the Scion United site. Please login and
check.

For some reason the filesize ended up being a bit large, but that shouldn't be a problem. Just fill out the rest of the info and send that in to make sure there are no problems with ScionLife stickers. Umm, I'm not sure where you're supposed to send it, but I'm sure someone else can chime in with that answer. Have fun!
