Default Honda tech forum needed, suggestions?

Probably not the best place to ask this, but can anyone list a forum for tech support on Honda's? My xB is down so I've been having to drive a 1990 Accord coupe, stock. I'm having some issues with the transmission and was hoping to ask on a knowledgable Honda forum what the cause migght be.

You know, I actually tried that just to see what was there, it's one of those stupid domain name grab sites that justs links to other sales sites. Man I hate those things.

Thanks, I'll be browsing that site. With my xB down I don't want to have my back-up down as well. Hopefully i can find a decent answer on there. Maybe I can even return it back to the guy I'm borrowing it from fully repaired.

I use to be a honda fanatic (still visit & post on the site everyday) and know quite a bit about them. What's wrong with it? Auto or manual?

1990, automatic trans. When the engine first starts up, the sport mode light comes on and stays on for about 2 minutes. After that, the transmission will go in and out of sport mode on its own without pushing the shifter button and with the vehicle at constant speed on level ground. When it goes into sport mode, it downshifts and can be somewhat jarring. The shifter button is out the entire time and is supposed to not be in sport mode. Also, sometimes on sharp turns (turning onto another street) the sport mode light will start and continue blinking until the car shuts off. Turning it off appears to reset it. There is no check engine light coming on.

I've checked the honda-tech forums and the best answer I could find is the TCM (transmission control module) may be bad. There were instructions on unplugging one of the connectors and jumpering them to read error codes, though it sounded like the errror codes would blink through the D4 light and not the sprot mode light. Also, they suggested opening the TCM up and looking for damaged components like burnt resistors and leaky caps. I may do visual inspection on it this weekend, hopefully the resistor and cap values are silk screened on the circuit board.

I noticed a LOT of vacuum lines on the rear of the engine, are they doing everything vacuum controlled? I'm in the process of gettign ahold of a chilton or haynes manual to read up on the engine design.

Hmmm, well I'm more of a 5-speed guru but my bro had a 92 acura legend (auto) that would blink like that as well (D4). I believe it was a faulty speed sensor or something of that nature.

Hey what better reason to do a 5-speed swap . BTW that generation accord is my favorite.
