I was over in the xb ICE forum (by accident) and saw someone say that you could wire an aftermarket unit to work with the existing ports, instead of wiring through the glovebox. As I am currently in the market for a new unit (pref a dvd / nav deal) I'm wondering if that's true and if so, if anyone would be kind enough as to instruct me in how to do this. It's make or break deal as far a I'm concerned.

I WILL do this to mine whe I get my new radio. It's possible and it takes time. but that's about it.
