Lost my factory keyless alarm remote for my Xb and was wondering how much it would cost to replace it from Scion/Toyota??? Has anyone done it before or am I the only clumsy one up in here. Just wanted to get a heads up before I go ask Toyota and plus they are closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

 

didnt yours come with a 2nd one? mine came with two. maybe you could find someone on here that also got an aftermarket alarm and might not need theirs anymore

 

I do have a second one for my car but my wife holds it. I just want the one to replace the one I lost so I can hold one also.

 

try doing an internet search for a replacement. on the back of the other one should be the p/n you will need to know that. hopefully you will be able to get a universal and program it. good luck

Try e-bay. I see them every now and then for under $25.00

 

My local car wash lost my keys and my dealership quoted me $300 to replace key and remote. Try Ebay. Somebody was selling the new remote in the key for like $20 and I think it had the Scion logo on it. Good Luck.
