Default Megan Drift Cat Back on an 08 tC...?

I have an 08 tc and I ordered the megan cat back which I was told would fit even though it say 05-07. Anyway I installed it and it doesnt seem to line up right. Any one got any suggestions?

well i have an 05 TC and the hangers did not allow the exhaust to hang right without hitting stuff or touch my bumber so i had to heat up the hangers and bend them to the way i liked it

from what I was hearing on youtube, the megan driftspec is one of the best sounding exhausts I have ever heard on the tC. Honestly all the drift spec exhausts for the tC sound sooooo good. Not a big fan of the HKS but ARK N2, Megan DS, And Agency Power Sound so beautiful

It depends where you ordered it from and how long it was on their shelves. The Drift Spec went through a revision change where they corrected the hangers on the midpipe and canister to correct fitment issues. If, by chance, you find a seller that still has the v1 in stock you may see some fitment issues.

that whole damn modified exhaust law or loud exhaust/noise pollution gets enforced quite often down here

so you guys don't think the drift spec is too loud? That's the only thing holding me back from getting one, it's hard to tell true volume from watching youtube vids.

it sounds louder in the car than outside i hav enoticed that and weather sometimes will affect it, but i dont think mine is as loud as a buddy of mine who has the hks ( has like a 4" tip on it so that may be why? )

I think Ark makes some incredible exhausts. They are quite when you need them to be and when you want them to roar, just slam the pedal. Plus they sound really good..probably the best sounding exhaust system for the tC but then again thats my opinion. There expensive too so thats on you but if you consider they can be used for N/A and turbo then they might be worth 7 or 8 bills.
