If I was going to buy a kit I'd make sure it was ABS or Urethane or Polyurethane like the stock lip kit.

anything breaks, it all depends on your driving.

anything can be made with a poor fit even non fiberglass kits.

as for the finish, its all in the prep work.

and if its a poor fit the eurothane or polyeurothane is hard to make fit

cost is way too much to do polyurethane or FRP..

hmmm. i know that old urethan kits for my buddies civic was sooo cheap . only 199 for a full front bumper replacement. hmm.

but thats a civic, the probably sold 1000s of that kit

and soon they will sell 1000's of xb kits hopefully. urethane is so much more durable

I think part of the problem is they arn't on the used car market yet, if you think about it, rarely does a 17 year old kid get a new car and get a bodykit, but I know tons of people that have hondas 89-01 between the age 16-19 that have kits. I don't know anyone that has a new car with a kit.

the mold for a one off piece will be about 2000, plus making the kit.

the scion market has a lot out there, but it is not selling like people thought it would. people want everything so cheap, but cheap is not always good.

are you sure, cause all the ones I see that arn't listed above, are either JDM or remakes of JDM. I could understand if there were maybe 15 out just for the USDM and i didn't know about 10, but 25-30 is pushing it

People who drive Scions are older people who arent really into the whole body kit thing.. and right now there are only a few people who have kits. I must say at all the shows i've been to and Sam theres about 4 scions with kits.. thats not much. Now tell me this... could you drive this car everyday?
