sorry if this is been answered but i search for it already and the vrd guide wasnt loading just wondeirng how much cutting do i need to do for the lip kit to install the vfd fog light i have a 2008 tc with the lip kit

 

as much cutting as you need to have it fit.

 

a couple inches.....start cutting small amounts until it fits perfectly....you dont wanna cut too much....

 

wat do i use to cut plastic and wat do i use to touch up and where can i get it

 

touch up paint you can get from the dealer....its like 6 or 7 bucks

put your foglight in that hole and you'll see what you have to cut along the bottom of the lip......cut small pieces until it fits in just right......

lol good luck dude... if you've never done that type of thing before it's not a good time to find out if you're good at it, IMHO.

x2.... i'd hate to see someone mess up their lip kit trying to add vrd on...

 

Remove your lip. Stick the foglight in there. Mask off the line you need with a piece of painter's tape. Carefully cut with a dremel tool. Oh yeah, wear face and eye protection too.

 

^^ Major ditto on face and eye protection. I didn't when I worked on my front grill and had a melted piece of plastic shoot and stick to my cheek. F-In burned like a beast. One thing you don't want is to have a burning piece of plastic stuck to your cheek while holding a running dremel.
