Default So I screwed up with the coolant

Ive noticed lately that my temp. gauge was a little higher than it used to be. I recently drained and refilled the radiator so i took a look at the coolant i used.......long story short it wasan't the 50/50 mix like i thought. I added no distilled water when i SHOULD have. Ive been driving the car like this for about a 1000 miles now.

Im letting the car cool down now and im going to add the right coolant but does anyone know if i could have messed up my engine or the cooling system?

nah, youll be fine

there isnt really such a thing as too much coolant(well if it overlflows, that might be too much )

just add some water...it doesnt necessarily HAVE to be 50/50

The coolant would transfer heat a little better with the water in it, but not enough to make a difference without it
