just wondering what oil you guys use in your cars. ive heard things about AMSoil but im partial to Royal Purple. wondering if anyone can shed some ligt if i should switch over to AMSoil>
also, is it okay to use something like Royal purple tranny oil in our trannies? i think someone mentioned once that we could only use the transmission oil that toyota makes in our trannys? all help would be great.

as long as its the same weight, its all good.
Also is your car a manual or automatic?
I put royal purple Max ATF in my automatic, and its been about 450 miles since I put it in with a flush. To me its all good :). Just go to the royal purple website. For manual, you gotta ask someone else.

I recommend Redline MT90....awesome fluid and almost everyone who has tried it loves it....search:
"Redline MT90"
to find other threads on it.

As far as motor oil goes, any 5w30 is perfect as long as the oil container carries the industries starburst symbol.
