Aroddalobster 04-14-2008, 06:08 PM grille? the grilles are on the bumper, not the lip ilovemytC 04-14-2008, 06:55 PM edit ilovemytC 04-14-2008, 06:58 PM ^will the front lip fit if I have a VRD bottom grille...do I need to shave it to fit is what I am asking. Grille: 1: a grating forming a barrier or screen; especially : an ornamental one at the front end of an automobile2: an opening covered with a grille Grill: 1: to broil on a grill; also : to fry or toast on a griddle 05tCtuner 04-14-2008, 07:01 PM They should the vrds just pop in the same as an oem grill. edit: just saw you already have them so i guess you know how they go in :lalala: my bad. but you should be fine with that lip. --Keith ilovemytC 04-14-2008, 07:18 PM thanx! and your molded Axis lip kit is beautiful! Don't remember if I posted on your thread, but good job! Aroddalobster 04-14-2008, 07:22 PM oh, i dont know about the vrd grilles, but the oem one seems to get pushed back by the rs1 lip. ilovemytC 04-14-2008, 07:33 PM yeah, I remember seeing a post where someone had to shave it a bit...well I'll just have to buy it and see! :lalala: 05tCtuner 04-14-2008, 07:33 PM thanx! and your molded Axis lip kit is beautiful! Don't remember if I posted on your thread, but good job! Thanks! Hopefully some one with the kit can give you an exact answer but if it fits with the oem grill you shouldn't have any problems. --Keith FLEA 04-15-2008, 12:36 AM The RS1 lip is supposed to just sit on the lip on the bumper. If there's too much on the RS1 lip then dremel it down. The RS1/P1 lip are designed to sit on the lip not be tucked under the bottom grille. I dremeled mine, took about 2 minutes to cut it straight and clean. |
