You know...it looks like you're right. Some people have been moved to different groups and now i'm thinking the groups are all consistent with the type of car you have. I'm guessing most of group 1 are tCs and new gen xBs that are somewhat modified to highly modified, group 2 and 3 are probably some stock tCs and modified older gen xBs and group 4 are mostly xAs with some stock older gen xBs. And the xDs are sprinkled in there somewhere :P I dunno, that seems to be my hunch.

you should go by the intinerary that was emailed to you last week(friday), hence the word "updated" when it states updated intinerary on the PDF. most peeps received an email labeled "Urgent" in the subject line, which ask you to login in and print out your updated intinerary..

Danny's notifying Scion of my issue directly & I'm hoping I get some kind of update & *crosses fingers* for itinerary information via e-mail, & hopefully getting a package soon. But Danny told me to call Kevin tomorrow. We'll see how that works out. :tap:

After auditing the groups listed on both packages and website, we've
definitely found some inconsistency with the website. For now, please
assume that the Group # listed in the package is the correct one.

In the meantime we are working diligently to update the website with
the proper groups and we hope to get that completed by tomorrow. Will
send another email out when it is resolved.

Again if you RSVP'd some time ago and have not received your package,

Dayum. Back in G3 at loews. I want to stay at Green Valley! I actually emailed Ian (ian@beyondmg.com) to see if I was able to switch hotels and bring a guest with me. We'll see what happens. :)

Also, I've been able to talk to Kevin the two times I've called Beyond Marketing. Kinda weird that you can't get a hold of the guy.

I don't think you can automatically be in as in just show up, you'd need rollin & hotel info sent to you. Not everyone that signed up was accepted... I know they did have submission errors on the site. Just make sure, it would suck for your to drive all the way out there.

Thats weird that you have 323 numbers, I have a 949 number and all the times I've called I've gotten Kevin immediately. If you can't get ahold of Kevin by tht 323 number, lemme know and I'll give you (those who need it) the 949 number.

Has anyone done any research on the handful of different car wash places in the area to get the car cleaned once we're in town? I would only have it hand washed in the first place but I was curious if anyone had called for the pricing and hand wash availability?

I'm not too sure on that clear wrap stuff lol. If it's strong adhesive, and you have chips already.. I'm pretty sure paint would come off when taking it off. :P

that griots spray on bra, stuff is pretty cool, peels off with ease...but stays on car no prob... soap and water got the over spray off no prob, no residue on paint when removed

Let me tell you guys/gals a little story on why I'm not going to Scion United, I was one of the first people to get called by Danny from Beyond Marketing, I was told that my car was chosen for the photo shoot and that I had to be there from the 14th to the 18th(group 1), I was told that I would get an email regarding the event, a couple of days went by and nothing, so I called Danny and he told me not to worry, that I had been confirmed already, so I said cool, a few days went by he calls me and says that he is confirming that I will be able to attend and I said yes, so he said, you will be receiving a package in the mail Monday 5th or Tuesday May 6th, when those days came and went, I called danny back and ask him what happened? he said, it looks like you got bumped out of group 1, but it does not show where you were bumped out to, at this point I was disappointed, but I still wanted to go, so I told him that was fine, I needed him to find out what group I was in now, so he said I will find out. I call him back a few days later and he does not answer, so I leave him a message, then I try talking to Kevin who also works for Beyond Marketing, I told him what happened and he said, I'll find out for you what the deal is, I have not once since heard back from Danny or Kevin, I've left numerous messages, I've sent them emails, I've try calling but still no answer. This is very unprofessional if you ask me, if there was no more room, thats fine, but they could at least giving me a call and said: "sorry Guillermo, but there are no more spots open, we apologize for all the confusion", that would have been better then me wondering all this time if I was going or not, which now its very obvious I'm not. People that know me, know that I am a very calm/laid back individual and I usually do not rant or vent out about things that bother me, but this one really does bother me, I love attending Scion events as much as I can, especially a big one like this one, I don't know if Scion dropped the ball on this one, or if it was all these guys from Beyond Marketing fault, but I guess at this point it does not matter cause I'm not going period, anyways, this feels good getting this off my chest, thanks for reading. BTW...Danny, Kevin if you read this, have fun at Scion United, since i heard you guys will be there, thanks for all your help :nope: :roll:

Thanks, but everybody in my car club that's going, already has a guest with them.

BTW...I've heard I'm not the only one they screwed up on, there's been many more cases, but from what I hear, I still the only one that got screwed out of this.

Thanks, I'm sure this was not easy thing to put together, but where it broke down the most was on the lack of communication, like I said before, a simple email or phone call saying, "sorry but there is no more room for you" and that would have been the end of that for me.

there are different resorts being used. The Motelago Village is the resort used for everyone in group 1. It looks like a really nice resort and more like a community than a hotel. Because people in group 1 will be staying there longer than everyeone else they probably hooked em up with that resort which would be like a small home so that they can live there for more than a couple days.

All the resorts are incredibly nice, but the Montelago Village is the only one I noticed that is setup like a town home.

I wouldnt worry about what your hotel looks like, they're gonna be sick.
